Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese brought to room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 14 oz can artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 6 oz frozen spinach unthawed and patted dry
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese to place on top
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (177 C)
  2. Combine minced garlic, sour cream, mayo, and chopped artichoke hearts in a mixing bowl, mix well
  3. Add shredded parmesan cheese, softened cream cheese, and spinach to same bowl and mix well
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste
  5. If you want it a little spicy, add red pepper flakes, mix well
  6. Add mixture to 9 x 9 baking dish, top with shredded mozzarella cheese
  7. Place dish in oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven temporarily
  9. Set broiler in same oven on high
  10. Once broiler is nice and hot, place dish back in oven and broiler for 3 minutes or until cheese is browned slightly
  11. Serve with tortilla chips
