Ingredients
- 1 14 ounce can of condensed milk
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1.5 tablespoons butter
- pinch of salt
- Drop of heavy cream
- Sprinkles to cover brigadeiro (can be brown or colorful, your choice)
Instructions
- To a small sauce pan over medium heat, add can of condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and salt.
- Combine well and add in drop of heavy cream
- Constantly stir for 10 to 12 minutes nonstop, this is important so the mixture doesn’t burn at all.
- Once mixture is thick enough, remove from heat. You will know it’s thick enough if you run the spoon across the mixture and it takes 3 to 5 seconds for the mixture to go back into place.
- Allow to cool for a couple of hours
- Butter up your hands and start making 1 to 1 1/2 inch (3 cm) balls.
- Roll fudge balls into sprinkles, and place sprinkled balls into small cupcake holders
- Place in refrigerator until ready to serve
Makes 16 to 20 fudge balls
