Garlic & Shrimp White Wine Pasta
This is a very delicious spaghetti recipe with olive oil, butter, garlic, white wine, and shrimp. The shrimp is a very good addition to this recipe as shrimp and garlic always go well together. This is a family favorite in our house among all 3 of our children and adults alike.
Ingredients
16 ounces cooked spaghetti
8 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)
1/2 cup white wine
Parmesan Cheese (garnish)
Directions
- Boil spaghetti until al dente
- Mince 8 cloves of garlic. Recommended to use food processor
- Pour olive oil into pan over medium heat
- Add butter to pan with olive oil
- Add half cup of white wine
- Add minced garlic to pan
- Mix around for a couple minutes before reducing heat to low
- Add several shrimp to pan and cook 5 minutes on one side
- Flip shrimp over and cook other side another 5 minutes
- Add entire mix of butter, oil, wine, and shrimp to the cooked spaghetti
- Mix well around spaghetti. Garnish with parmesan cheese, italian parsley, or anything you’d like
